Ⅰ Objectives
To promote the capacity building of hydropower green development in Lancang-Mekong countries and improve the technical and management level of managers and planners. This project will furtherly promote the steady economic and social development of Lancang-Mekong countries, and support the realization of the community of destiny of Southeast Asian countries.
Ⅱ main activities
The project carries out the following three main tasks:
1. share the technology and policy concepts of green hydropower development on planning, design, construction, management and maintenance.
2. To organize and hold a green development technology sharing and capacity building training course for hydropower in Lancang-Mekong countries, and invite government officials, researchers, engineers and technicians from water resources, energy, agriculture and other sectors in Lancang-Mekong countries to share our green development concepts, policies and technical standards.
3. To share the current status and planning of hydropower development in Lan Mekong countries with the trainers, sorting out and summarizing the problems between hydropower development and water ecological environmental protection in Lancang-Mekong countries, analyzing the demand for green hydropower development technology and management, and paving the way for further technical cooperation in hydropower field in Lan Mekong countries.

To promote two practical technologies for the green development of hydropower, namely, technologies related to the green development and ecological protection design of hydropower stations, and multi-objective dispatch technologies for hydropower stations. |
1) Planning to conduct the online training seminar in September, 2020, which mainly focus on promoting the technologies related to the green development and ecological protection design of hydropower stations, and multi-objective dispatch technologies for hydropower stations. 2) The themes and lectures of training courses had been determined. The training programs and contents are under further consideration. |

To submit the final research report. |
1) The implementation program of this project was compiled. 2) The seminar agenda for the video conference has been preliminarily made. |

To promote about 30 visits and exchanges of personnel from Mekong countries. To train 10 professional technicians from Mekong countries, and promote the sharing and application of technologies. |
1) The enrollment plan and English enrollment materials had been made. The project is preparing the trainee lists. 2) This video conference will promote about 30 exchanges of personnel from Mekong countries. |
