Murugesu Sivapalan

Murugesu Sivapalan, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering & Professor of Geography, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Sivapalan was founding chair of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) Decade on Predictions in Ungauged Basins (PUB) initiative. He has been a member of the editorial boards of several international journals and was Executive Editor of the European Geosciences Union's Hydrology and Earth System Sciences (HESS) journal for 10 years.He has been elected Fellow of the American Geophysical Union, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, Fellow of the Modeling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand, and Life Member of the International Water Academy.
