Hanjiang Group Co. Ltd. is affiliated to the Changjiang Water Resources Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, China. The company has been in charge of the construction, operation and management of the Danjiangkou Water Control Project since its establishment in 1958. Headquatered in Wuhan City, Hubei Provence, Hanjiang Group is now a large-scale state-owned enterprise group with coordinated development of hydropower, manufacturing and service industry in China. 

The Danjiangkou Water Control Project managed by Hanjiang Group is the key project for the management and harnessing of the Hanjiang River and South-to-North Water Diversion.

Hanjiang Group has focused on the development of hydropower projects in the Hanjiang River basin, including 6 hydropower projects. In addition, the company has also participated in the development the Datengxia Water Control Project in the Pearl River Basin.

Participate Situation

Since January 1, 2020, the Hanjiang Group Corporation officially took over the operation and maintenance of the Dattay Hydropower Station. Dadai Hydropower Station became the only one hydropower station in Cambodia, which achieved excess power generation under the Covid pandemic, and was specially awarded the "Power Generation Excellence Award" by the National Power Company of Cambodia.
