Wang Huning Meets with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh

On September 1, 2025, Chairman of the National Committee of the  Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning  met in Beijing with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who is in  China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit 2025.

Wang  Huning stated that General Secretary and President Xi Jinping paid a  state visit to Viet Nam this year, charting a new grand blueprint for  deepening the China-Viet Nam community with a shared future that carries  strategic significance. China is ready to work with Viet Nam to speed  up the implementation of the outcomes of the visit, comprehensively  advance practical cooperation in various fields, and bring greater  benefits to the people of both countries. The CPPCC National Committee  is willing to work with the Vietnamese side to jointly contribute to  advancing the building of a China-Viet Nam community with a shared  future.

Pham Minh Chinh said that developing relations with China  is a strategic choice and top priority for Viet Nam. Viet Nam highly  admires China for driving global economic growth through its own  high-quality development, and looks forward to learning from and drawing  on the theoretical and practical innovation outcomes of Xi Jinping  Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Viet  Nam is willing to work with China to implement the important common  understandings reached by the leaders of the two parties and two  countries, and to elevate Viet Nam-China relations to a new level.
