Abstract

Groundwater in Việt Nam occurs in many formations such as loose sediments, carbonate rocks, terrigenous sediments and basalt. The natural dynamic reserve is 128,500,000 m3/day. The quality of groundwater in Việt Nam is generally good for the water supply. In some regions, the groundwater is contaminated by arsenic, nitrogen and organic matter. The problems of the groundwater management in Viet Nam must obey the law of water resource.
