To ensure the traditional activities on the Lancang River during the Water Splashing Festival of the Dai ethnic minority, the outflow of Jinghong Reservior on Langcang River will be regulated .

According to the arrangement of power grid system, the outflow of Jinghong Reservior is gradually decreased from 1500m³/s-2300m³/s to 1000m³/s -1200m³/s starting from 9th April. The outflow will be gradually increased to about 2000 m³/s from 17th April. 

In case of any other significant variation of the outflow caused by any abnormal circumstances, the Chinese side will timely keep you informed of relevant information.
